T.I.E. Pilots were units of Imperial Stormtrooper used by the Galactic Empire to fly Twin Ion Engine (T.I.E) fighters.

They're incredibly skilled in flying their T.I.E. Fighters and were known to be able to shoot down several enemy starfighters, this was due to the fact that only 10% of the pilots trained at Imperial Training Programs were able to graduate and fight for their Empire, while the others were sent to reconditioning to become standard Stormtroopers or continue training as T.I.E. Pilots.TIE fighter pilots wore a black jumpsuit with pockets and zip-front, a reinforced helmet reminiscent of the stormtrooper design, and chest armor featuring a control box attached to two flexible gas transfer tubes plugged into the helmet.
